Project Mercury is a 1/12th scale model by Model Rectifier Corporation of the USA's first manned orbital spacecraft. The spacecraft capsule, launched above the Mercury Redstone rocket in 1961 with Alan Shepherd on board.
This kit when finished stands over 600mm tall and comprises the (removeable) Mercury Capsule, the escape tower, and the Capsule retropack. The Mercury Capsule has the full interior detail and a vinyl astronaut figure. the kit does not include the Redstone Booster rocket.
